TOTAL SOLUTION PROVIDER

From ungraded eggs to finished products
Every egg producer or packing station has its own portfolio of products,
packages and the logistics surrounding these products. In order to design a
total solution for your specific situation, Moba has developed a well
balanced group of robot modules that can handle all the various functions found
in egg packing stations.
• MR 10 packs consumer packs into crates and  cases
• MR 20 packs consumer packs into displays, shippers etc.
• MR 30 is a combination of the MR 10 and MR 20
and can pack consumer packs into  crates, cases ,displays, shippers etc.
• MR 40 can pack trays onto  pallets
• MR 50 can de-palletise pallets of the Eggs Cargo system
• MR 60  can palletise cases and crates filled with consumer packs

With these modules, combined with all other logistic functions available,
tailor made solutions for your particular needs can be designed.
All these
projects are carried out under the name “Autopack”. With over 100 Autopack
installations worldwide, Moba has an excellent track record in automation in the
egg industry. Next to reducing labor costs, the gentle handling of the eggs
ensures the output of the best possible quality. The fact that all elements are
part of one technical family ensures identical and easy to use software. High
standards for
integration, sharing databases and network connections results
in total traceability throughout the complete production chain.

MR 50 depalletises pallets with eggs. The stacks are
placed on the loader of the egg grader. Since the robot
locates each layer there is no need for pre-aligning the pallets before processing with all possible risk of creating cracks.

Moba Omnia FT graders are the centre of the grading
operation. With its product oriented setup the Omnia
database is the link between the logistic and information flows. The industry confirms that Moba  Omnia graders  produce 2% more grade A thanks to the individual egg
 handling principle.

Moba Contiflow system links the grader to further
downstream automation. Upto 4 flexible usable levels
transport consumer packs and trays with eggs and
all thinkable functions can be included such as buffer
functions, pack splitters and open pack rejection (as
 shown in picture).

MR 10, MR 20 and MR 30 robots
can pack consumer packs into cases, crates, displays, onto pallets and into  shippers. The sophisticated pick up head is capable of handling a large variety of different packs in the most gentle way.

Final products are placed on pallets by MR 40
or MR 60. The MR 40 is a tray palletizing robot that
places offgrades, smalls and large-volume-sales ont
pallets. It can handle both pulp and plastic trays, even simultaneously when required. The MR 60 scans cases or crates based on for example barcodes and loads a maximum of 4 pallet positions.

Individual egg handling offers you:

Best possible egg handling; In most egg graders the packer trajectory is the weak spot when it comes to egg handling since eggs can collide against machine parts and other eggs.
Not in Moba egg graders as eggs are kept and transported in individual pockets.

Accurate detection systems; Only the most sensitive systems allow  a perfect scaling in off grades. This, in combination with the exact known  position of each egg, allows accurate control of the quality of each end  product. By this product oriented programming, a Moba Omnia can for instance produce products with the same weight grades but according to
different  quality criteria simultaneously. This will result in the highest possible output in your final pack.

Full traceability; As the position of each  individual egg is known in the process, the Moba Omnia stores all data  in a database for “on the egg” accurate traceability, from the chicken  house to the final pack. Automatic interfacing to inkjets and labelling
systems leave no room for operator errors.

Easy cleaning; The whole packer in a Moba Omnia consists of individual pockets made of foodsafe industrial plastics. These parts are in fact all what is needed in a packer to handle  the eggs in the most safe and hygienic way. All egg touching parts are  replaced in seconds and keep cleaning time to a minimum. The parts can be  high pressure cleaned or automatically sanitized in a parts washer while  your machine is grading eggs.

All these features combined will result in more eggs to your final pack. The industry confirms that individual egg handling results in 2% more output compared to alternative technology.
