On February 5, the first group of 20 students of the “Poultry Academy” visited Moba.
On February 6, a delegation of 23 politicians from various departments engaged in European and Dutch agriculture and economy visited Moba to have a look at Moba's activities in general and the link to the Poultry Academy in particular.
Business and education join hands together to set safe staffing of the sector in the future. That is the central idea of the Poultry Academy where a number of initiatives come together, including the new national Centre for Innovative Craftsmanship Agri & Food and the professorship Poultry CAH Vilentum . The Poultry Academy offers : life-long learning , more flexible training and courses : bring new employees who have no knowledge of the sector up to speed fast. Also introduce broader programs: not only students in agricultural education , but also students in technical education must get acquainted with the poultry industry, especially with the supply industry and trade. And third: more intensive training : the industry needs technical MBO students and college graduates who are well introduced in the sector. And last but not least: Strive after a better image of the sector : together we can make clear that the poultry sector is innovative , challenging , international, friendly and is important to feed the world.
